Job Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing clinical diagnostics team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our outbound sales funnel. Your primary mission is to identify, prospect, and qualify potential clients—including private clinics, medical groups, laboratory directors, and corporate wellness managers—and secure qualified meetings for our senior sales executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Prospecting: Conduct daily high-volume cold outreach via phone calls, tailored emails, and professional networks (such as LinkedIn) to engage medical professionals and healthcare procurement managers.
  • Lead Qualification: Assess prospect needs, patient volumes, and current diagnostic testing workflows to determine if they match our core buyer personas.
  • Meeting Generation: Successfully book high-value introductory calls, product demonstrations, or service presentations for the Account Executive team.
  • Market Mapping: Research local healthcare networks, independent clinical facilities, and emerging market trends to discover untapped business opportunities.

Requisitos

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in outbound B2B sales, cold-calling, or inside sales roles. Experience within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or lab services is highly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Medical Technology or a related scientific/commercial field.
  • Medical Literacy: Ability to understand and comfortably discuss basic clinical diagnostics terminology (e.g., assay types, screening panels, biomarkers, molecular testing).
  • Communication & Resilience: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills. Highly resilient, with a proven ability to confidently navigate gatekeepers in medical offices.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (Salesloft/Outreach) is a plus.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Qualified Opportunities: Monthly volume of sales-qualified leads (SQLs) handed over to Account Executives.
  • Meeting Completion Rate: Percentage of scheduled clinical presentations that successfully take place.
  • Activity Metrics: Daily volume of outbound dials, customized emails, and new contacts mapped.
