Core Responsibilities:
- Respond to emails promptly and professionally both in Spanish and English
- Handle incoming calls in accordance with quality standards
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
- Send VOB (Verification of Benefits) and GOP (Guarantee of Payment) to facilities, confirm receipt, and ensure coordination for insured cases
- For out-of-network facilities, attempt to arrange direct billing; escalate to Provider Relations if issues arise
- Communicate with medical facilities to confirm billing acceptance
- Follow up on urgent requests and outstanding documentation (medical records, bills, etc.)
- Maintain ongoing communication with facilities to obtain required information
- Build and maintain positive relationships with providers, both in-network and out-of-network, to expand our network base
- Assist with additional administrative tasks for Travel Assistance (Assist + Case Management), including MR and MRF processing
- Collaborate closely with Case Management and Account Management teams
- Maintain and update provider and contact databases
- Stay current with professional and technical knowledge
Requisitos
Qualifications and Experience
- Bilingual, proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High level of engagement and accountability
- Previous experience in the health services field a
- Flexible schedule to accommodate rotational shifts
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- Skilled with Microsoft Office programs.
