Core Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emails promptly and professionally both in Spanish and English
  • Handle incoming calls in accordance with quality standards
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
  • Send VOB (Verification of Benefits) and GOP (Guarantee of Payment) to facilities, confirm receipt, and ensure coordination for insured cases
  • For out-of-network facilities, attempt to arrange direct billing; escalate to Provider Relations if issues arise
  • Communicate with medical facilities to confirm billing acceptance
  • Follow up on urgent requests and outstanding documentation (medical records, bills, etc.)
  • Maintain ongoing communication with facilities to obtain required information
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with providers, both in-network and out-of-network, to expand our network base
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks for Travel Assistance (Assist + Case Management), including MR and MRF processing
  • Collaborate closely with Case Management and Account Management teams
  • Maintain and update provider and contact databases
  • Stay current with professional and technical knowledge

Requisitos

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bilingual, proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High level of engagement and accountability
  • Previous experience in the health services field a
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate rotational shifts
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office programs.
